چکیده
Abstract Conventional mechanical drilling for implant placement is limited to specific geometry and orientation, resulting in incorrect positioning inadequate anchoring thin or porous bone. This study presents the development of a laser-based ablation process an applicator technology precise fast laser oral cavity. For development, CO2 with wavelength 10.6 μm was used. Pulse durations between 10 μs 400 were investigated low thermal impact. efficient cooling bone tissue, we applied fine water spray. The designed integrated scanning module, focusing optics compact spray system three nozzles tip. cavities analyzed using digital microscopy electron microscopy, allowing measure ablated volume depth as well investigating microstructure. demonstrates capable generate rate 1.75mm3/s which about 80% higher than previously reported. Investigation of the Nd:YAG laser percussion drilling process using high speed filming
1. Abstract Modem aerospace gas turbines require large numbers of small diameter holes « 1 mm) to provide cooling in the turbine blades, nozzle guide vanes, combustion chambers and afterburner. A typical modem engine will have 1 00,000 such holes. Such holes can be successfully produced by laser trepanning, but this is a relatively slow process compared with laser percussion drilling. With perc...

A novel and robust scheme for radix-4 Booth scheme implemented in Carbon Nanotube Field-Effect Transistor (CNTFET) technology has been presented in this paper. The main advantage of the proposed scheme is its improved speed performance compared with previous designs. With the help of modifications applied to the encoder section using Pass Transistor Logic (PTL), the corresponding capacitances o...
متن کاملHigh Speed Thin Metal Cutting using Fiber Laser Technology
There are several methods available for precision cutting of thin metals less than 0.06-inch thick used for these applications, which include materials such as stainless steel, titanium, nickel, and aluminum. The major options, lasers, electric discharge machining (EDM), water-jet, and chemical machining each have a role to play. However, precision fiber laser cutting technology is now emerging...
متن کاملFinite Element Simulation of Dental Implantation Process
Using the finite element procedure, the insertion process of a dental implant into a section of the mandible is analysed. Elevated stress concentrations in both cancellous and cortical bone are examined during implantation. An implant of length 11mm is inserted at 1mm increments into the mandible. The torque applied to the implant top ranges from 0 to 450Nmm for a total time period of 36 second...
